We stopped in on Sunday,service fantastic our waitress very accommodating ,food absolutely great ribs to die for , loaded potato salad,Cole slaw,toast,sweet tea, wonderful atmosphere very liad back and relaxing , I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. RIB COUNTRY ,MURPHY NC. AS YOUR MUST STOP PLACE TO EAT ! 5
never really ate their till Recently. Wow! food is Amazing and fresh. We started eating there once a week and food is always delicious and fresh. Very impressed by the staff and service. a must try if you haven't. We had a family gathering and there was a wait on the large table so they put a few tables together for us. Very Accommodating!
I really enjoyed the place. I got in town late and went there for dinner. The beef was very good and lean just the way I wanted it. The sides were awesome. The mac & cheese was a little bit dry, but that's what happens when you walk in 30 minutes before closing time. I would recommend this to anybody that is visiting in town and wants barbecue. I noticed on the menu that they had apple pie. It was more of what we call in Texas a baked pie. It was excellent, and the ice cream seemed to have a hint of cinnamon. That may have been from the pie.
I would come back for the brisket!! Got it marbled and I only wish I got a pound instead of half a pound. The ribs were cooked a little dry for my taste, but flavor and sauce was on point. Food was ready fast and staff was really friendly. Only did a takeout order so couldn't stay, but the place looked great.
Great Southern BBQ. WE loved the ribs and brisket. Fried Green Tomatoes were really good too. Servers were great and the place was clean and comfortable.
Visiting the mountains of NC in Murphy and Rib Country BBQ was suggested as one of the best BBQ sport in Murphy. So I decided to check them out. We ordered the sliced brisket (which you can order lean or fatty) sweet potato's with a delicious brown sugar cinnamon butter, fried okra and pork & beans. Oh yes and for dessert we ordered what they called fried apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream. This dessert was what we call an empanada, and it was light, crispy and delicious The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. If I ever pass through Murphy Rib Country BBQ will be a must do eating spot.
A random roadside stop led to some of the best bbq I've ever had. The pulled pork was smoked perfectly. The bark was tender and sweet. The meat was kissed with just the perfect amount of smoke. The hand battered onion rings were perfectly cooked so that the onions were almost creamy and caramelized inside their perfectly crispy little shells. Macaroni and cheese and slaw also fared well, but the portion was so huge we couldn't finish our dinners. And a whole pulled pork plate for $14.90!!!! What a steal!
Best fried green tomatoes in the world!!! We ordered to go and ate outside at their tables. I love the ribs. Cobbler never fails. And service is spectacular
